Big Daddy’s Rear of the Steer is a family owned and operated restaurant that has its roots in the catering business. The catering business started in the North Dallas area and has taken us all over the state of Texas and beyond. We have catered events as large as a 500 person political rally, to small dinner parties in the home. We have cooked for weddings, rehearsal dinners, cattle sales, golf tournaments, company parties, tailgate parties, and everything in between. The journey has taken us to places in Colorado, Nebraska, and Mississippi to name a few. We have even sent our Bar-B-Que to Chicago and New York City!

In 2010 Ernest Paul and Myra brought the business to Omaha, TX and opened the restaurant that is still going strong today. Growing up in Omaha, Ernest Paul decided that if he was going to open up shop, he would go back home to do it.

The menu centers around homemade from scratch comfort food and award winning Bar-B-Que. We look forward to seeing you come through the door.
